I don't really think about recovery foods. I just eat what seems healthy and tastes good. I eat a lot of pasta. _________________ I got Fiber35 |

I like to use my blender to make shakes. They feel refreshing after a workout, and they are healthy. _________________ www.complimentarymatters.com |

hello everyone,
I find that having some protein is a great way to stop muscle fatigue and breakdown after a work out. Sometimes I make a shake with hemp protein and some frozen berries, or if not at home---just some cottage cheese. Hope that helps you!
Does anyone else have some low calorie ideas, I am trying to lose some weight as well? Thanks. |

Remember to hydrate as well. Carbs are also as important as proteins. Eating protein, just after a workout helps muscles heal faster. Protein from yogurt, milk, soymilk, or nuts may be used immediately to avoid the rapid drop in the blood sugar. _________________ Jay Franco,

| I try not to gorge myself after an exhausting session. Depending on what I've got in the fridge i usually make myself a filling sandwich with tea lots of tea. Drink that water! |

| I try to look at my meals as a part of my workout. Eating a meal that compliments the workout is just as important as the workout |

I usually just drink water and eat a meal. If it's not around a meal time, I'll have a refreshing smoothie with fruit and whey protein. Sometimes I'll have some nuts or fruit and perhaps some vegetables like raw carrots for a snack after working out. _________________ Vega Sinclair, Health & Dental Insurance Advisor |

It is important to recover with electrolytes. Drinking YogaEarth's VITALITY post workout accomplishes this. It also sustains cellular health and energy to help get through the rest of your day. http://www.yogaearth.com/legup/
